What is Mediating (Im)Possibilities?

Mediating (Im)Possibilities is an art exhibit that works to spread awareness on global issues through art and support artists around the world by offering them a platform and giving them a voice.

What are the biggest problems facing your country today? When asked this question, artists around the world responded with art about global issues (social, political, economic, etc) they care about. Many used Mixed Media as a medium and experimented with various materials.

Our art exhibit is fully online and operated through this website and VR exhibit. We are currently experimenting with selling art prints online and through NFTs. All proceeds will go to the artists and philanthropy.

Founder, Director

Mandy is a high school student from Georgia, United States. Growing up as an immigrant, she has developed a passion for learning about different cultures and fostering kindness in her community. To her, art is one of the best ways to unite people and explore the world. In her free time, she loves to paint (especially with watercolor, oil, acrylic), learn languages, watch travel vlogs, and hang out with friends & family.

Ivy Chan

Communications/Marketing Officer

Ivy is a high school student from Pennsylvania, United States, serving as the Communications/Marketing Officer for Mediating (Im)Possibilities. As part of the team, Ivy hopes to inspire meaningful engagement and conversation around the critical global issues highlighted by the artwork. She finds that taking photos helps her relax and better observe the world around her.

Maria is a high school student from Vancouver, Canada. She discovered her love for art through countless hours of dedication to her favorite fandom and has not stopped since. Growing up in many cities and experiencing all sorts of cultures, Maria hopes to utilize art as a way to bridge communities and cultures. In her free time, you can find her listening to music, tumbling on the trampoline, or hanging out with friends.
