"This work represents the eco crisis of earth and global warming through the eyes of endangered flowers. This is #1 of four matching pieces regarding this issue. Himalayan blue poppies, as rare as they are, can survive very cold temperatures. I chose them for my first piece because I thought that they were a gorgeous representation of some of the beautiful flowers of the world slowly going extinct."
