Food Fight

"Food Fight is about the two party system in American politics and the partisan conflicts between them. The tomatoes engage in violence to the point where blood (in this case morality) comes out. For this piece, I chose a mixed media medium. I recycled my paper pallet to expand my canvas, increasing the scope and dimensions of my art. I also chose an abstract style using abrupt strokes, textured plaster, and added canvas because abstract art, like many policies, is open to different views and interpretations."
